Best Chest Exercises For Women
I think we can all agree that chest isn’t a muscle group most women want to overly develop. We simply want a nice defined decolte for when we wear that sexy bardot dress! Here are 5 toning chest exercises that I love, that will strengthen your core as well. 1. The fundamental exercise, the wide push up. Your hands should be slightly wider than shoulder-width apart on the floor. You should intentionally keep your core as tight as you can at all time when you perform push ups. 2. Next, table top press. The same way you would perform a bench press, lie on your back on a mat with your knees bent and feet lifted, so your legs form a 90-degree angle. Keeping balance while pressing will be a lot more challenging. 3. Burpee with push up. Ah! I don’t think anyone loves burpees but this exercise has got to be my favorite for it’s high intensity, core and chest strengthening all in one! 4 & 5. Here is a little combo that doesn’t require any weight, but you’ll be surprised how much burn you’ll feel. Standing press into isometric press. Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bend your elbows and bring your arms to the side, forming two 90 degree angles. Maintaining this position, press your arms together until they touch in front of your face. Return to start. Perform this for 60 secs then bring your elbows together in front of your face. Press/pulse your arms together as hard as you can for 60 seconds.
