How To Stay Motivated & Focused

I personally don't ever want to be filled with regret because I didn't follow through on something I really wanted, and I also don't want to feel like I failed at achieving the things that are important to me, all because I couldn't manage to stay on track when it really counted. I’m sure you feel the same way. You can do it! But how? - 1. Make sure the goals you set are YOURS. Ask yourself, are those goals really the ones YOU want to attain.
2. Visualize the end result and what it will feel like when you’ve achieved your end goals.
3. Break your goals down into smaller goals that are more tasks oriented. Set a target deadline for those tasks. That is for me what helps me the most! 4. Do you have people in your life who inspire you, who can engage conversation about the things you are passionate about and stimulate excitement in you. When we talk about the things we love, the things we want and dream of we usually feel an instant boost of energy and motivation. 5. If you’re having a week where you feel like you’re not motivated to do the work, remember that your goal isn’t about executing and just finishing the work. Your goal is about something bigger. Think about that BIG & exciting picture! - Take control of what you can and don’t worry about what you can’t. 6. Fill your mind with uplifting and inspiring information. You need constant reminders telling you that you are capable of achievement. Read books, listen to podcast, etc… 7. Be consistent with your work! That is extremely important. Take consistent action every single day. This means that even if you are totally not in the mood, do one small proactive thing that will move you towards your ultimate goal. …”Something” but never “Nothing”. 8. Staying motivated is not impossible. It's just about keeping your end goal in mind and breaking it down into manageable smaller steps. You got this!
