Staying Cool & Confident
Staying cool and confident keeps you happy and healthy.
In the past I would get emotional or exhausted thinking about my career, my personal life, what isn’t working out the way I hoped, how much further I could have be today if I had made different decisions in the past, all the things I want badly and haven't accomplished yet. This is my time and my energy consumed the wrong way.
It’s important to remind ourselves that we’ve worked hard to be get here and be here and that although it may not perfect, let's always recognize all our blessings today. Trust the timing of your life.
FIND A CALM PLACE
Writing, drawing, creating, are things I do to sit and breath and bring my attention inward. It’s important to check in physically, mentally, and emotionally and see what’s going on. We all keep a lot of things inside. Let your emotions out.
It is great for us to have a busy life, a strong career, a passion, goals, and fun hobbies, but it’s important to find that calm place where we can always go to and just breath and express ourselves our own way.
I don't workout to be a certain weight or size. My fitness goals at the moment are to commit to making healthy decisions for myself, have a strong metabolism, great energy throughout the day, improve mental clarity and focus and sleep like baby every night.
Dedication is something that you carry for life. If you work hard and stay at it, you will evolve in good time and will get better.
I try to keep my food simple. I love to cook lots of vegetables to serve with a source of protein such as chicken, eggs, turkey, tofu, or fish. I love salmon! I’ll add healthy fats like coconut oil, ghee butter, raw nuts or nut butter. I like my plate to have all the essentials and to look colorful and appetizing.
When you eat good, you feel good!
Staying cool and confident is all about how you recharge and come back. It’s having the right conversations with yourself before the day starts and then throughout the day too. There are so many great things to be excited and positive about everyday, you just have to remind yourself of that.
